Online Class - Brickstitch Earrings

Hi there!  So stoked you’re thinking of taking this class with me!

In this class you will learn how to make a pair of fully beaded brickstitch earrings. This class is beginner-friendly, though I will warn that there are a few tricks and steps that can be challenging. The class is four hours so we can move very slowly through each step. I have one camera that will be trained close-up on my hands so you can see what I’m doing, and one camera on my face where I will be orally describing each step. Guidance and help will be available after the class as well. Class will be held on Zoom with a link sent the week of the class.

Materials will be provided to make two pairs of earrings:

• Size 11/0 Miyuki seed beads in the colourway of your choice

• Size 16 Japanese beading needles

• A beading mat

• Fish hook earring findings 

• John Bead Good Thread Bonded Nylon Thread

You will need to provide scissors, and either a small pair of jewelry pliers or tweezers (these tools are just to open and close the fish hooks, but you can be creative. I’ve done it with a ton of different items.)

I HIGHLY recommend having your phone on hand to take photos of each step and / or a notepad and pen to take notes of each step. Also make sure you have a drink and snacks!  The class is long as we move very slowly, you need to keep your energy up <3
